turns out a 10gbe network card will do a great job at overheating whatever thing it's mounted right next to. Like your PSU Making it run the fan at max blast even at 5% utilization. ...I need a PCIe riser so I can put this card *outside* the case >_>

Getting real tired of people going "your open source must take a stance or you're doing free work". I've released a lot of FOSS, because *I needed it*, and then I went "it cost me nothing to make, here you go, humanity, do whatever you want with it". Some of those have thousands of github stars and millions of weekly downloads. Because others thought they were useful, too, and other than a single large donation I've never made money off of that. And I knew that from day one. That's how FOSS.

Making a decent, detachable 100lbs-carrying wooden handle with a metal core should be a fucking no-brainer. wait wh- yeah it's almost like you don't fucking work in a goddamn kitchen and instead just romanticize cooking.

Hey Microsoft: how about you first start with making an OS that just works out of the box. Heck, take Windows 7, pretend everything after that never happened, and add modern architecture and protocol support to it. Then call it Windows Core 12 and let the current line of Windows die.

Because the entire article is based on the assumption of a 4GB payload which even the author himself seems to know is wrong, then immediately ignores that.

@Foxboron what if we turn the anger into calling this out in the issue trackers? Which is what folks did. Then the issue tracker got locked down. Your toot is pulling double duty as both "don't harass/doxx people" which, yes, obviously, don't fucking harass individuals. Good call-out. But at the same time it *also* reads as then saying "don't complain to FOSS maintainers" which, no, you absolutely should. Everyone should complain loud and publicly about nonsense like what systemd just pulled.

Go to settings, security, scroll down, "oh look, I just need to explicitly tell MacOS that it should do what I want it to, instead of what some billionaire wants" =/ Concrete example: if you grab Little Snitch from https://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/download.html and try to run it.
