@autiomaa@mementomori.social @socketwench@masto.hackers.town The way I'm thinking about it would use browsers' parsers/rendering engines directly (with Content Security Policy/Permissions Policy style controls over allowed tags). JSON would be used as the connective tissue to link sites together. I've got a bunch of scratch notes about the idea. DM me if you're interested.

@socketwench I'm convinced were 1-3 hacks away from using RSS as the backbone for website based social networks. There's no obvious value to extract so corpos aren't working on it, but it's like, right there.
so this is cool: hand collected rss feeds with hacker new style voting. read the faq and send in your feed.
@pluralistic@mamot.fr I don't know if you've covered AI voice bots being used to scam seniors (and, I assume, everybody else). I witnessed an attempt. They're nasty.

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io reminds me of folks who justify actions based on legality. The disconnect that happens where folks forget that laws are made by whoever is in power. That legality does not ensure morality.
