@heiseonline@social.heise.de ich bleibe dabei. Das Versagen liegt zu 100% in der Inkompetenz der politischen Akteure. Ob nun selbst verschuldet oder durch fehlende Schulungsprozesse. Wer hauptberuflich mit vertraulichen Daten über Computersysteme kommuniziert, braucht mindestens ein Base-Level an digitaler Kompetenz... Das fehlte hier ganz offensichtlich. Wenn diese Schwäche nicht angegangen wird, kann das tool noch so gut sein.

I'm sure every cent in this is well spent, but don't fool yourself in believing that this would make a big impact. We still need a systematic change in behavior. So what if companies that cause (and has caused) the destruction and pollution of the oceans have to pay for it's reperation? That would prevent future destruction by a transform of how we interact with it.

@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social that's a little nit picky on the term of "pushing"... In that sense nothing is pushed to me (by Mastodon at least) unless I activate push notifications 🙂 But I think we can agree on that boosting is by far the most important part of increasing visibility of something in the Fediverse. Still I would like to have some recommendation algorithm I could tweak by myself to find stuff from people I don't know and that don't get so much boost.

@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social Well actually there is an algorithm... in the explore Feed. That's how I found this post. But the algorithm is not based on any user data. And to be honest. Now that we have the control of how a recommendation algorithm would work I would actually like to have this as an option.

@rail_@bark.lgbt I am straight and I always felt included in the rainbow/pride flag... The point of view of that guy is the stupidest way to think about it. A flag that includes all sexuality is including straight as well. Or am I wrong?
