I think the real point is, to try to adjust for the source, figure out what topics they seem to avoid, and take that into account. Point is there's not really any news you can trust to be honest always about everything. But if you can figure out what topics each source is likely to censor and misrepresent, you can get the most accurate picture possible.

Right but not only is it a security weakness, but it's also not helpful to the user. Point is the username probably exists in the system. Say I went to a website to register TheFogan, but TheFogan already exists, so I created TheFogan2. 3 years later I go back to the website, try and log in with username: "TheFogan" password: "Hunter2", and it tells me "your username is right but your password is wrong". But in reality I have the right password for my account, but the site would just think I have the wrong password for the guy who beat me to my account. So yeah agreed the primary reason for it is security, IE a fully user focused, while having bad security practices would be, a "if the username exists in the system, report "Username and password don't match", if the username doesn't exist report "There is no user by this name in the system". My point is the site only can know if they have a user by that username, not whether that is MY username.

yeah real question how would the website even know. Whole point is to match the 2 things together. Is hunter2 my password, well that depends who are you, we've got plenty of users that have that hunter2 password

and out, that’s really the key problem, we don’t know shit about it, because literally propoganda is all we have. China at least we have some level of communication and shared dialog between regular american citizens and regular american chinese citizens.

I mean peer tube and similar exist. I think the majority of channels with over a 25k views, I don’t think there’s a consistant number anyone gets, but something like 100 bucks per 25k views or so is pretty common.

What about the other though. I’m against US imperialism. So I believe the only truth must be either the perfect opposite of what they are saying, or the propaganda of their adversaries.

Can you give the specific, Nazi actions or policies Ukraine has placed on it’s people. I’m not a huge expert on Ukrainian politics. But say if someone were to ask me what nazi like things the US is doing, I’d be able to say Making threats to attack neighboring countries (Canada, Greenland, Panema), directly attacking other countries like Venuzuala and Iran. Putting people in camps, raising the police state, canceling citizenship of american citizens, prosecuting journalists, Restricting rights for LGBT. I can make a long list for Russia and Isreal as well. So educate me, as far as I can see Ukrain seemed to keep to it’s self pretty well. I’ve not really heard any examples of extreme authoritarianism or attacking journalists, or finding an outgroup to persecute… or anything to imply they had any intent of threatening any of their neighboring countries.
