I spend my days helping teams build better embedded systems and my evenings working on an open source home automation platform with custom hardware, firmware and enclosure design. If I build it for myself, it's open source. I’m currently moving into freelancing, focusing on embedded Linux and Rust, mostly around coaching, consulting and helping teams adopt better systems.
Outside of that I work on open source projects (mainly home automation stuff and some embedded Rust experiments I started myself).
When I’m not coding, you’ll probably find me in the workshop creating sawdust, brewing beer or at the fire brigade.
