@pvonhellermannn@mastodon.green we pick blackberries every year and it has got earlier every year. I know as we have a couple apple trees and 20 odd years ago the apples and blackberries ribened together, now the blackberries are almost 2 months earlier than the apples. Blackberry and apple crumble is now only possible if the blackberries are frozen while we wait for the apples.

@GeofCox@climatejustice.social I think so too, the challenge is that the media will deride it as evidence that the Greens are crackpots, however I still think it could work as people can see much environment impact with their eyes, and it could even have the secondary benefit of reducing the credibility of the deriding media. For the far right it’s actually; collude with our client media to socialise controversial announcements to gradually shift the Overton Window further rightwards. There’s no “falling for it”.

@DrEdBridges@toot.wales in the BBC drama Years and Years I always thought the overwhelming public outcry at what were in the show fairly mild concentration camps was far fetched. I watched it late though so knew things were already past that point. Way past in Trump land.

We have Sky News playing in the reception of our office block at work. They were just doing a "war poll of the UK population" and divided voters up into only 3 groups, Labour, Conservative and Reform.

What the actual f*ck!!!!! Literally Sky is acting like the Green Party doesn't exist. Also that the Tories still do. And I suspect they conflated Engloand with the UK, making the SNP vanish too.
