Mac users. I'm using a hammerspoon that switches between active output and input devices for audio. I am wondering if someone has made a newer one than this? This one is just called AudioSwitch.

It's been amazing not using windows for the last few weeks. Tell me some of your favorite apps or hammerspoons. I'm using something called triggrd but want it to do more like announce things via text and sound but I haven't had time to set it all up yet.

Dear inspected by number 94. It is with a heavy heart that I write to you. The zipper you have signed off on has snagged my ballsack. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Yours, Kyle L smith.

@StarGirl@mastodon.stickbear.me Alright, buckle up, we’re going full meteorology-meets-bathroom science here.
A tornado watch is like that moment your stomach goes, “hey… just so you know, I’m thinking about it.” Nothing has happened yet. You’re still living your life. You’re texting, you’re vibing, you’re maybe even a little overconfident. But deep down, there’s a low, ominous rumble. You start doing quiet risk assessments. Where’s the nearest bathroom? How far is it? Do I trust this chair? You’re not panicking, but you’re definitely… aware. That’s a watch. Conditions are right. Something could happen. Stay alert, maybe don’t wander too far from safety.
Now a tornado warning? Oh, that’s a completely different universe.
A tornado warning is when your body looks you dead in the soul and says, “we are no longer asking.” This is not a drill. This is not a “keep an eye on things” situation. This is immediate action required. You don’t debate. You don’t finish what you’re doing. You don’t say, “eh, I’ll wait a minute.” No. You drop everything and move with a speed and purpose you didn’t know you had. That’s when it’s a full-scale, unstoppable event already in progress. The storm has touched down. Sirens are going off. There is urgency, there is fear, and there is absolutely no negotiating with what’s about to happen.
During a watch, you might joke about it. “Haha, my stomach’s making weird noises.” During a warning, nobody is laughing. You are executing a plan. You are finding the safest possible location. You are making peace with your life choices that led you here.
And the best part? Just like weather, sometimes a watch passes and nothing happens. False alarm. You live to fight another day. But when it upgrades to a warning… oh, you’ll know. There will be no confusion. No second guessing. Just pure, undeniable reality unfolding at maximum intensity.
So yeah. Watch: “hmm, interesting, let’s keep an eye on this.”
Warning: “it is happening RIGHT NOW, get to safety and may the odds be ever in your favor.”
