@iFixit Regarding how often/long people wear headphones and smart watches, would you consider testing for potentially hazardous materials in addition to repairability? While the “Stiftung Warentest” exists for a variety of products in Germany, a more tech-focused and international counterpart would be very interesting.

@gianmarcogg03 @element Cybersecurity involves much more than just secure communication, i.e. end-to-end encryption. If confidential data is leaked, then that would be a security breach. Security services generally try to compromise your device, either through backdoors or malware, and read the decrypted messages directly.
