@johan@infosec.space Ну, во-первых, самая большая игра, которая у меня установлена на постоянной основе, это Autodesk Revit. Как раз сравнимого размера. И она мне приносит и пользы, и удовольствия несравнимо больше Gemini. За ней следуют Mass Effect 3 тоже примерно того же с модами и наконец Space Rangers HD в 10 раз меньше. Фильмы — а чо их держать. Во-вторых, насчёт Жаминай за меня сказал Борат. Есть за токены, есть за подписки, а есть локальные гораздо лучше. В 3-х, личная неприязнь к современному Гуглу.

Говорят, Chrome начал отжирать какие-то неприличные объёмы памяти под встроенную Gemini: с 4 ГБ улёт пошёл в аж 20. Проверить не могу, не отношусь, и вступать не хочу, но официальный пруф имеется: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/16961953 TL;DR: Если у кого Хром, ~удалите его к хренам~ перейдите в настройки chrome://settings/system и выключите пункт "On-device AI". А ещё на Андроидах с GApps принудительно отключают Ассистента. Ну и моё личное мнение о Жаминай:

@ralen @SmudgeTheInsultCat i don’t think it’s that someone died. anyone can die of anything if they have an allergy, for example. water, ordinary water has the lethal dose (LD50) for human — 6-7 liters. you drink them and the nerve impulses will stop reaching your muscles, your lung diaphragm will stop, and you will suffocate. as for kashrut, judaism has the most commandments — more than half a thousand. even the eastern religions are less prescribed and even less restrictive. so is the culture.

@ralen @SmudgeTheInsultCat any water creatures that have no fins and scales are no kosher and banned by kashrut, thus it is prohibited for "one favored group" to consume mollusc seafood like shrimps, lobsters, mussels, oysters and so on...

@MrLee Replace Reddit? Come on, you can try to replace StackOverflow or Youtube with same success... Reddit must do something extraordinary to ruin himself like Facebook did to start losing his users. Even NexusMods is still prospering despite their f-ups.
