@tzimmer_history@mastodon.social DeSantis is dangerous. The fact that he can operate with impunity in Florida is a statement in just how flawed our system of government is. We in the U.S. rely solely on the electorate to enforce standards of behavior among government officials, and when society is fractured into normal and aberrant segments, the aberrant thrives because it's member don't follow the rules.
