They should be tied in a sack with a cat, a monkey, and a goose, and the whole thing chucked in the river.

I guess if they have a bug bounty you're still helping the fuckers, just taking cash for it. At least this way they are looking stupid and incompetent.

It’s definitely the best way to learn a language, at least for me - throw yourself in and actually use it every day.

The surface actually looked pretty cool when it first came out. To me, at least. Times have changed tho, and windows has leapt in the shitter.

It's not about education, it's often something you need to learn the hard way. It's way too easy to be distracted or busy and hit a bad link. Losing access to a discord account hardly counts as hurt, unless it's linked to bank stuff.

The last of us part 2. I’m over the halfway point, where I think a lot of people want to give up. I know I did, but I stuck with it and I’m really glad I did, think I’ve got maybe a quarter of the game left and loving it.

Similar vein to forbidden snacks was *don't put your dick in that.* Yeah I miss the niche subs too, don't miss the rest of the bullshit tho. E. Ask historians was also high grade.

PRESS RELEASE

I have done some gardening this morning. I now intend to finish my cup of tea, take a shit, and play some computer games. My day off is proceeding normally. Further details to follow.

Personally, I'd be happy to see more users, particularly in the niche groups which are often dead as a dead thing. I don't want the bots tho, and I'm thinking that gen AI has probably made the fuckers pretty plausible and hard to identify.

So a couple of weeks ago I finally had enough of windows and put linux mint on my laptop instead. I haven’t used linux since the early 90s and couldn’t remember much at all, was concerned I’d have trouble with drivers etc. In fact the whole experience was a piece of piss. So easy. There were no urgent-seeming pop ups with arcane terms, no crashes or problems, I didn’t need to use the command prompt. Then I was able to find and install the programmes I use easily too. Slack, steam, etc. Within maybe an hour I was able to do my work on the computer again. I kinda feel like I got my laptop back - windows was getting so buggy and aggravating that I had been avoiding using the machine. If Linux wants a future in which it continues to grow, it needs to do more of this, appealing to the casual, non-technical user. Because we probably represent most of the market.

Sure, that’s why propaganda can be so powerful. It’s not just what is said, it’s how it’s said. And pretty much everyone if 3 vulnerable to the right propaganda - especially people who think they’re not vulnerable to propaganda.
