@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social it's obvious only in your close minded bubble.
It's sad that nobody told you that there are people that think differently than you.
That's a typical of yankee that never saw a different country.

Clearly only your shit that you can't even explain is not stupid. Everybody just should know that you opinions are the best and true

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social I've explained why that's not good. You can't explain why it's good.
The only conclusion is that you are just repeating someone's opinion. You've never engaged in critical thinking process yourself.

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social you never said why removing an icon is a good thing to do. You just said it's good.

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social anyway, you are the one entitled here, reserving the right to an opinion. The right opinion. I can't have other opinion, because you are tired of "complaining"?
It's not an adult daycare bro.
Who is masturbating their ego by explaining how good they are and others are wrong? Me?

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social ok xD
there is nothing good about what they did. They are not so stupid to fully remove an X account with almost 2 milion followers.
They just removed one icon. Why? Why not all of the big tech platform icons? Because it's a virtue signaling - hey look, we don't like people with different opinions! Look how nice, diverse and inclusive we are!
And they didn't just remove them. They announced it like it was meaningful change. It's not. That's why it's just virtue signaling. They don't have balls to delete the account.
They project how "good" they are without doing the deed. Children's behavior.

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social that's the weakness of the platform. We are dependent on the whims of the reddit moderators. But for some reason my angry appeal was accepted. Probably a mistake.

@benroyce@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social they did something good? By removing an icon to X account to virtue signal? Give me a break.

@Frischling@wehavecookies.social @david_chisnall@infosec.exchange no. Less eyes on every software means more vulnerabilies you never discover. It would be much worse.
Diversity in this context is just another term to describe security by obscurity.
We need less numer of standards that are more robust, not more standards.

@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange the most microslop shilling thing I've read today. Ofc microslop doesn't want one big competitor, but many small ones.
Anyway, that is not true. All of the servers run on Linux for decades now. That was never the problem, but just now, when microslop is losing desktop market? Very curious indeed.

@maxpool@mathstodon.xyz @pluralistic@mamot.fr I always try to buy a drm free version of a book I want to read. I visit Anna's archive if I fail. It's about 90% of English books and 0% for polish books.
No polish ebook store has drm, apart from subscription based ones. We have it good here.
