If ever going to try this, ask to make it a script fully explained, then read it and fully backup before you run.

There was a very weird placement on Supernatural on some episodes with a "tech genius". Very jarring how forced it was.

I saw one around ten years ago. My boss bought it, used it for a week and bought a new mac. OS was the main issue for him.

Couple of years back I got a PR at work that used a block of code that read a CSV, used some stream method to covert it to binary to then feed it to pandas to make a dataframe. I don't remember the exact steps it did, but was just crazy when pd.read_csv existed. On a hunch I pasted the code in google and found an exact match on overflow for a very weird use case on very early pandas. I'm lucky and if people send obvious shit at work I can just cc their manager, but I fell for the volunteers at large FOSS projects, or even paid employees.

You only prove the price of RAM on the US, while complaining about US centrism. I’m not trying to convince you, or disprove you. I’m just letting you show the absurdity of what you say, so that nobody is fooled by you. In that sense, this last message is enough to close this. Thanks.

Great in the sense I don't have to bother for 6 years for a partition I will use less than 24 hours over that period of time haha. So far I've used it to scan once (for some reason that day skan decided to not work) and to make a windows install USB for my SO. I tried Expedition 33 thinking performance issues were a Linux thing by no, it's just like that. So it's a long term unlikely to be used OS, and for that long support is great.

As a patent of a small child, without some benefits in the form of flexibility in hours (not in output) either I or my partner wouldn’t be able to work without external help. Those who can’t afford the help sometimes have to “work for free” because some hours they work just go to somebody to be with their children. The shitty part is that (anecdotically based on my experience) those who complaint about any benefit for patents are the same who consider selfish to not have children.

A bit of a dishonest question, but wouldn’t that argument lead to minors being able to buy alcohol “for their parents”? We are now shifting the responsibility to the stores, not the parents. I have my reasons to think it’s not a fair comparison, but I’ll like to hear other’s.

The only problem have with this is that it should only apply to commercial software (app stores and 0S). Libre/FOS software should not have to police ages on their app stores, It’s a bit like saying the only problem with the Titanic is the water inside. The law is bad, whether it can be worse or not is just tangential. But still, this law as is applies to computers, phones… And nas, some routers, watches, advance calculators… As they all have OS and can install apps. As per app stores, guess what, thats the GNOME app store, but also flatpak, jellyfin (can install apps as plugins), pip, docker, git… And what about plain executables? Githut should ask for your age too to download artifacts? Porn started with only age verification by the user as a prompt, and we see where that is going now.

No. You are the one who knows, without doubt, they used ChatGPT and can’t be wrong. If you think “hey, there are other options, don’t jump to unproven conclusions” is to like to argue I’m not the one with a problem. I’m open to being proven wrong, but you need a bit more than “trust me, I must know”.

It’s not like BBC is a single person with no skill other than a driving license and at least one functional eye. Hell, they don’t even need to go, just call the local services. For me it’s most likely that they have a specialized tool than an LLM detecting correctly tampering with the photo. But if you say it’s unlikely you’re wrong, then I must be wrong I guess.

A chatbot can be the user facing side of a specialized agent. That’s actually how original change bots were. Siri didn’t know how to get the weather, it was able to classify the question as a weather question, parse time and location and which APIs to cash on those cases.
