@tinypp @cobaltsnow i get ya. thoguh sadly we tried that. a friend walked me through it and sadly it still was doing it.

He had me use a program that tracked the connection and the serves it pinged off of. one of the xfinity servers was throttling everything. only way around it was to use the vpn.

In the end, i like the VPN. After using it the first 2 months i was so satisfied i kept paying. It's been half a year now and i cant see myself not using it while online.

@tinypp @cobaltsnow very much so. i fought with them for months about it. they kept saying it wasn't them. the moment i got the vpn, it was faster and it sopped blocking the free tv and movie sites i use to go to.

I know ISP's monitor you but they do it super hard. i turned on the security notification options on my account and it would block almost everything. Even video games.

it had already been doing it before, but being able to see what was being blocked in real time had me pissed.

@cobaltsnow Xfinity was doing that to me off and on with baraag some months back. I finally gave up and got a VPN. this point, i don't even use the internet unless its on.

@cobaltsnow I'm starting to lean to the idea of just making a fanbox/patreon/substar and use the accounts for only subs and donations.

Have the pages fund bigger character projects and just post it all here and on inkbunny. Put in somewhere in the description that "these pieces were funded by "links here". If you would like to help, you could donate at..."

I logged in last night to my old fanbox. I read some of there rules for PP stuff. it says its no longer allowed unless you have an old account (think i read that correctly.)

It also said that paypal is not allowed (more so advised) as a creator if your making R-18 content.

I REALLY want to open a Fanbox, but with all the grey areas and updated rules, I dont want to risk my PP account of 10+ years.

@cobaltsnow I use to use PP payment set up on fanbox. worked fine.

I've been a lil worried though that PP would get back to my fanbox. I remember someone saying that's how they lost there account. For all i know that's just a rumor. *shrugs*
