For gaming, Ubuntu’s got the strongest support. Why do I know that? Because I tried running Steam on … perhaps openSUSE or Void, & was told by Steam that they only support Ubuntu. I believe the error was in the AV1 license NOT having a “if you enforce patent-license-fees on this codec, THEN you can’t use this codec” type of coercion… ( I may have got the logic wrong, but there’s some kind of license that works that way, which other open codecs have used, apparently ) Just ignoring that predators exist … provides NO protection from them. You have to make your license-agreement break abusers, … or you’re just helping them. _ /\ _

Banning it at-home, is 1 thing, but banning it while abroad & in hostile-regimes, would be idiocy: at the home-end, record the whole interaction, & make that part of official-record. Different case, obviously, but I remember reading about an AI which can identify pending-heart-attack from x-rays … and nobody could figure-out what the hell it was judging from… THAT is brilliant. Specialized to the degree that it is trustworthy. I’d be surprised if humans could possibly compete against a properly-done set-of-AI’s, which worked through, in the correct order, all possible diagnostic-reasoning. Democratizing accurate-diagnosis would be THE medical-revolution the world needs, now. _ /\ _

Reincarnation can be significant. Oh, & genetic-testing is notoriously inaccurate, unless one is paying-for 1000x oversampling… 100x oversampling is the bare-minimum I’d consider useful. The reincarnation thing: my “home” is what my soul/continuum remembers as “home” from some life as a buddhist Himalayan monk, many centuries ago. To say that I don’t fit this modern world well is understatement. Wrong values, wrong instincts, wrong frame-of-reference, wrong reactions, wrong everything. Once I undertood it, then … life made MUCH more sense. My unconscious has been trying to make my world fit its memory of my ( previous-incarnation’s ) world, & that’s impossible.
