I think people fail to understand what it means to work in America. Y’all Europeans really have no clue how bad we have it. If your job is accommodating you because you have kids and someone else complains, your company doesn’t accommodate both. They cancel your accommodation because of “fairness”. There is no ADA accommodation for kids. The fact they agreed to it in the first place is a miracle. So yes people with no kids need to stfu. You already winning by keeping your money and more free time. Let parents have this one thing.

I disagree. The problem was always teachers being afraid of technology. The whole point of a paper is to show that you know the material. If you write a paper and read an entire synopsis of the material and have to explain it in a way that improves not only your reading comprehension but also your writing skills, is that not the entire point of education?

It’s pretty much the same but on Reddit it’s ok to be combative and rude with people as long as public opinion approves. Also most of the posts are bots so you aren’t actually being rude to a person there most times. Please don’t do that here. There are way less bots here so please remember you are speaking to actual humans. Also political discourse is mostly ok here. Same rules apply with rudeness though. On Reddit you will get quarantined or shadow banned quickly with anything politically charged.
