Everyone should be free to protest on something they believe in. Whether I agree with them or not, I'd always support right to protest.
It's also possible and completely ok to support some parts of a protests' aims without having to completely sign up to 100% support the whole protest. This nonsense of calling people traitors because they don't agree with you 100% belongs in the 1930s.
