@kde@floss.social kde is a desktop environment godmode with extensive customization configurations. Menu style could be a bit like mint but i guess plasma menu is lightweight in memory footprint.

@godotengine I just started using godot recently and seriously i am impressed with the organized workflow, integrated GDScripting and shaders workflow for both visual and scripting. In love with event handling workflow too.

@Zenie@piaille.fr @itsfoss@mastodon.social yea i personally prefer emacs as it has extensive modules to work with. Its kinda like OS. I also didnt want to go with vim. However, vim is suitable for situations where you need default editor to use even in different distros for quick file editing. And vim is available in mostly every distro as its small, old and lightweight.

@Zenie@piaille.fr @itsfoss@mastodon.social There are many technical aspects behind both of them. Vim is quick, easy to learn and fast. If you quickly wanna open the file then edit and close it. Emacs has more pro approach when it comes to even do scripting. Keep the program open. It's learning curve is little tough in start but once you grab it you will be at good utility use. Both has been great editors but emacs has a better edge.
