Been a few rough weeks with Lucky, not so much cuz of her but cuz the shelter have been fucking dumb.

Anyway, she just was picked up by her new owner!
Hope it goes well for her 🫶

I was completely taken out of the adoption process cuz I don't think they liked that I had my own opinions and not just nods along to whatever they say.
I might not have years of experience but I'm autistic with a special interest for animals so I'm not just any other clueless pet owner 😶

My dog had a seizure yesterday. He's about to turn 14 and have shown signs of developing epilepsy for a while so I was prepared, but it was still awful. He was checked at the emergency vet and and luckily they found nothing. We got home emergency meds.

He's my baby boy, I'm not ready for him to be old 😭

Anyway, if anyone feel generous and wanna help with the vet bills, yesterday's and coming ones I'd be appreciated 🥺❤️🫶

She's been her a month now! And she's settling in great 💖 Definitely noticed a huge change when we reached week 3, the 333 rule is no joke.

Spent 3 weeks learning her to shake. Which I frankly didn't expect her to ever fully learn, it was more for getting her used to me touching her paws. The previous owners had her muzzled and had to have a second person holding her down when claws had to be trimmed.. But I have trimmed em, shaved them and she now is a shake master! 🥹 Even did it for strangers

Still so many red flags I'm trying to handle maturely but at least my puppy blues from adopting this girl is subsiding

She's making progress with her behavior issues as well

The red flags are flagging and I'm loosing my fucking mind trying to stay out of it

The babies

They ain't only getting a dog when they really shouldn't but also seems like they planning to go against all my advice

I've made a note with predictions
It's a miracle if that dog doesn't run into a behavioral issue mess

She have settled in pretty well!
Her biggest issue is resource guarding food against my other dog so for the time being she's behind the baby gate whenever I'm in the kitchen and when it's feeding time. Other than that she's a pretty well behaved girl. Not the girl I got advertised at all but I never expect that when getting a rehome case 🤷‍♀️
She also makes quite a lot of noise home alone but I hope that calms down once she's fully settled!

Talked to a mutual friend of mine about the dog and comparing me to their ex situation and I'm glad they seems to be on my side 😭 and fucking angry about the entire thing cuz aaa we just want the best for this person and they have now screwed themselves over so many times, ruining the great progress they've been making.. And they know it

At some point one gotta give up trying to help people who don't wanna make the though calls and help themselves
