The last thing and I'm gonna make a separate post for this but while I still need money, I do need to move but I do have hot water again and I've been taking care of my mental health. I've since been going to regular therapy, gotten some meds, and now my houselife is still not great but I'm coping better. I'll be posting my personal account soon if folks want to follow me on there. I'll still use it for mutual aid but maybe for teaming up with others.

SOMEWHAT LONG POST

This post is for any followers, soon I'll be leaving this account and make a personal account. It's sad to say but trying to run a social media campaign for mutual aid has been utterly depressing for me.

1) It seems like at least for me, when you focus on solely on mutual aid trying to lift others up and little else, you only get followers who also need donations. And without followers who are able to give at least money, I felt like I was often screaming to the void.

Hey folks, so I'm posting because I've decided that I should focus on writing articles and change my strategy. I started MutualAidNet due to my lack of transportation hurting my ability to help IRL and I see that what I have been doing isn't working for me or helping other people.

I'll see how well simply focusing on articles works for me, but because of a lack of donations (tbh, I think that's on me, really) I'm going to have to also find freelance work to support myself and move out.

I have a new article in the works and trying to post more things about mutual aid in general. In the meantime, if you have friends or family who want to help in these difficult times, please share my articles with them. I write them to be accessible to everyone and join the cause!
