I said earlier that Kumiai-Ki The Mighty Labor Union Mech was roughly 3.75" tall. Here's a size comparison shot. This is an unedited image from my cellphone, so the color and focus aren't *great*, but you can see Kumiai-ki standing between a couple of Super 7 Reaction figures, including Draco Knuckleduster and Phantom Starkiller from Killerbootlegs (one of the early pioneers of the DIY toy scene) and Toxie, The Toxic Avenger (from one of the early pioneers of DIY cinema!) Also pictured here are our short soft rubber Kumiai-Ki Keshi toys. These are squishy, eraser like rubber renditions of a cuter "chibi" style version of Kumiai-Ki. The toys are in production right now, we have the capacity to make several dozen of these toys a week, and we're making and assembling them most days right now. We're still working on the design and artwork for the packaging, we plan to have that finalized soon. Until then, have another Kumiai-Ki The Mighty Labor Union Mech poster.

We're still working on the final colorways we're going to make available for our painted versions, but these are top contenders right now. One is a red torso with shiny dark gray limbs and some silver painted highlights, the other is a blue silver with silver painted highlights.

Our Mighty Labor Union Mech toys are hand made by me ( @ajroach42@retro.social ) and @djsundog@fedi.reclaim.technology in the the north GA mountains. They're made of a vinyl alternative called PAL, which is easy to recycle, moderately flexible, paintable, and contains some recycled plastic.

Our 3.75" retro "shogun warriors" style Kumiai-Ki action figure is now in full production. Unpainted action figures in various colors will be available in early August for $20. From Tuesday - Friday this week, we produced more than 800 little squishy robots.

These are bright pink! So bright that it's hard to photograph.

Some of them have silver streaks in them (because the batch after the pink ones was silver!)

When we started, all this plastic was orange!

Here's a behind the scenes look at our toy production process.

This is the plastic (well, rubber? It's a TPV, vulcanized rubber suspended in a plastic matrix) we mixed up yesterday, a combination of scrap regrind from other projects, some post consumer recycled plastics, and some green colorant.

At this temp, and with this equipment, we can make two rubbery Kumiai-Ki toys every 2.5 - 3 minutes.

This is one tiny corner of a massive retail space, and the second location for us (and for the crocodile) in TN. Keep an eye out for more from us here and at the original location!

Here are some photos of our kiosk. We'll probably expand to fill more space in the future, but until then there are four other *excellent* booths full of new and vintage toys, a Huge selection of VHS and DVD, aisles upon aisles of vintage clothes, antiques, art, pottery, and all manner of other goodies across 16k sqft of retail space. They open to the public on Saturday, with an official grand opening party the following weekend. If you find yourself in or around Chattanooga, it's absolutely worth going out of your way for (even if you're not into weird monster toys.)
