@leafuw@mstdn.party I have this dentist who legit trained under soviet communism lol shes really really really cheap and always puts stuff through as "emergency" so the NHS pays a bit but I dont think she knows what anaesthesia is but its worth it because I feel so accomplished knowing Im the only person in the UK not getting charged a fortune for dental care

@leafuw@mstdn.party thats so cool its like horses with their conveyor belt of teeth although actually theirs is more like a push pop. It would be pretty embarrassing to be missing a front tooth like a 6 yro as a teen though lol and I had a terrible lisp as a teen anyway with no front teeth Id be totally screwed 🙀. Thats cool genes though you should try selectively increase that trait by creating a phylogenetic tree and marrying cousins till allele frequency increases lollll

@leafuw@mstdn.party I've had like 8 teeth pulled by the dentist actually but all while awake. Strangely many of my baby teeth didn't fall out naturally so I had 2 rows of teeth for a while the adult teeth behind the baby teeth like a shark till I got the baby teeth pulled at like 12 lol. I was so scared of the dentist as a kid so the dentist basically held me down. I wonder if my wisdom teeth will come through I can feel them under my gums

@leafuw@mstdn.party memory is such a funny thing its weird who we our is kinda strung up by them. It'd feel very strange being held responsible for something you have no recollection of due to amnesia even though it would be equally your own actions as an event you do remember Do you know ~30 percent of people serving life sentences claim no recollection of the crime? This is apparently for a multitude of reasons though such as not wanting to be compelled to implicate another or trying to avoid their shame

@leafuw@mstdn.party hmm that does sound interesting I heard somewhere its feels very different to sleeping. I feel I have lost great opportunities to experience this though as it seems in north America everyone is getting their wisdom teeth out and such but Ive never actually known anyone in the UK get theirs removed. I think thats because healthcare is socialist here and wisdom teeth removal is somewhat elective? Id just have them put me under for the experience lol.

@leafuw@mstdn.party have you ever had full amnesia, its the weirdest thing ever, I lost a day and a morning after a bad seizure. Its odd to know I was interacting with others behaving like my normal self yet I came to shortly after the seizure and felt absolutely no connection to those actions because I had absolutely zero recollection. Its really like nothing else I cant even explain it and have never experienced anything remotely similar since.
