The Boring Company 🇺🇸 is introducing its ZPIT technology, an automated (no on-site workers) and continuous (non-stop) tunnel-boring method: the machine installs the segments (prefabricated concrete segments) simultaneously with excavation, at a rate of over 1 km per week.

The UK’s National Insurance Agency is set to close a large number of public GitHub repositories where it had been publishing its software, out of fear that AI systems might uncover security vulnerabilities.

But because the interests of the key players are not aligned: (i) the U.S. government, which opposes regulation in order to beat China at all costs
