I am not entirely sure that this suggestion will cover it all, but the volt 1 is a Dac that I have been running for a year and a half now.
I made the swap to Linux recently and found that it had no problem - I had Linux problems with sample rate but that had nothing to do with the volt
I have used the dac with the:
- senhizer 990
- rode nth-100
Oh, and my Linux drive is a raspberry pi M.2 - with a 3D printed extension with kapton tape

Day 5: swapped drive and environment to cosmos, still on cashyos. I wouldn’t say that it’s been the best experience (or easy) but I think… I think I am at a point where I can just use it for my daily tasks and games

A few days ago now I swapped my desktop pc to Linux - I have never been a fan of windows, but Linux seemed so complex.
I thought playing games would be difficult, what was the easiest part - My fault though.
I am running Hyprland on Cachyos, and I have broken it a few times. Time for install num 4
