By falsely alleging Palestine Action deliberately targeted people with violent acts, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper committed contempt of court – but a court order prohibits British media from reporting this. UK outlets are also barred from telling the public that Palestine Action’s lawyer, Rajiv Menon, faces contempt of court proceedings for reminding jurors of their rights.
Yet another issue of the U.K. not having any re rights.

No. Most of the carbon is emitted at production of the hardware and building the other infastructure. This is how that personal carbon footprint does too - it counts things the consumer cant control like electricity, shipping, etc. of food they eat.

Proponents of such plants claim that burning wood is a climate-friendly alternative to burning coal, oil or natural gas because any greenhouse gas emissions associated with burning wood are later offset by newly planted, carbon-storing trees.
God I’m so fucking tired of these dumbass liberals. CARBON OFSETS ARE WORTHLESS SCAMS. All the calculations on how much we can emit to stay below 2° rely on existing carbon sinks remaining there. If you want to make offsets valid you have to consider every single source of carbon (animals, volcanos, etc.) and offset that too.
