Our electricity went off at about 5:30 this morning, I'm still sitting where I've been sitting since then. My kitchen has sliding glass doors and looks out over a small valley, so I can see the weather moving across the entire area. It makes you realize before we had knowledge of weather and movement of skies and things like that.. no wonder we prayed to sky gods and eventually made sacrifices. These days I know who I'd sacrifice, but that's another story.

And to end this long day, a relative has to have a mastectomy IMMEDIATELY. My heart is so sad for her. Damn. There's no let up it seems. I'm gonna tell you the truth.I don't like the part where you find out what you're really made of. It hurts a lot. Goodnight my Masties. Tell the people you love that you love them, while it's pure and simple. No riders on it in the background. Just I love you. ❤️ Edited to add, today she was told it has to be a double mastectomy to protect her life.
