@james@bne.social The battery life on that Xteink device is amazing. I've basically charged it once. Admittedly my usage hasn't been heavy yet (finishing off another couple of physical books), but it just sits there in standby using almost nothing.

Nice to wake up in a country where every council is going to be run by knuckle-dragging racists.
BBC iPlayer is a mess. This afternoon there was live snooker that was not on a TV channel. The website was showing it, but it was nowhere to be seen on iPlayer.
They said "we're moving to the red button", but that wasn't active.
And given that I only ever watch about 2 programmes on it, why do I have to do a manual search every time? It's never on the homepage.
A UI disaster.

@mpirnat@mas.to @ericwastl@hachyderm.io Absolutely. I have tended to start strong, get up early, but as Christmas approaches it takes longer and family suffers from my mental absence. This is better, even though the difficulty will probably ramp more quickly.
