Immigration isn’t just about “welcoming people.” States often use moral language to mask economic interests: cheap labor and endless growth. Addressing root causes and helping people where they live is also an ethical duty.

Limits in a capitalist world aren't seen. We often think and act via an utilitarianism with no regard for the singular beauty of cultures, if so, we wouldn't say that blending them in a multicultural society is totally healthy while actually supporting it for the sake of profit.
