But is there also an option to show *only* shorts? Real free choice settings would offer that.

I’m confused. Excel is a spreadsheet, that’s always in the form of a table.

You can’t trust Palantir with any agreements, safeguards, or supposedly deidentified or anonymized data. They will use the data anyway, undisclosed. Immoral data is their business. Data association and connection is their business. And they have the scope, prevalence, and collected data for it.

It depends on contract. Your interpretation matches use as “should”. But there’s also use as “claims x” or “is claimed or said to be” which the quote refers to. Ich soll - I should or I am asked to. Es soll - or is supposed to be or it supposedly is.

Well, there’s news about them being the replacement. So, no, they won’t.

I’m not too familiar with the specifics, but didn’t they put their foot down about just two safeguards? Sure, it’s having a spine, but I have to wonder if the line they draw isn’t a bit too far either way.

They’re not. Standard lying and propaganda that they do. You can’t trust in anything they say, in any reasoning they claim.

I didn’t read their comment as defensive at all. Their comment ended not in defense but in questioning your original claim/original assessment. The sentence before that serves as reasoning for that.

They fear falling behind other browsers and losing users because of it. They see AI prevalence and see it as an opportunity to profile and position Mozilla as a leader in "ethical ai". They see AI use cases and success and think they have to integrate it to have additional, useful, significant features.

Unfortunately, it’s proprietary licensed. I was wondering if there was an opportunity for protest use, but that’s difficult with restricted licenses.

I was confused by seeing DisplayLink there, but couldn’t fully place them, and Wikipedia made me think they may be using HDMI and have an interest in keeping it inaccessible to sell their products and services.

hdmiforum.org/members/ AMD is part of the forum but can’t get them to accept their own open source driver. I guess we can’t shame all of them in one. Sad.

We kinda have that already Some frameworks/standard libs do support that, making use of OS webrendering capabilities. For example MAUI WebView WebView uses different browser engines on each platform to render web content: Windows: Uses WebView2, which is based on the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser engine. This provides modern web standards support and consistent behavior with the Edge browser. Android: Uses android.webkit.WebView, which is based on the Chromium browser engine. The specific version depends on the Android WebView system component installed on the device. iOS and Mac Catalyst: Uses WKWebView, which is based on the Safari WebKit browser engine. This is the same engine used by the Safari browser on iOS and macOS.

I guess the prices give us a new kind of issue ticket template; “new RAM is to expensive for me, please consider optimizing”
