I wrote about Elon Musk's latest lie: that the FCC's refusal to give Starlink a billion in taxpayer subsidies somehow resulted in the death of Helene victims:
post-Chevron, corporate lawyers will insist that ANY regulatory effort to protect consumers or implement reforms violates the law, regardless of impact or logic
and net neutrality is going to be one of the earliest casualties
step 1: lobby Congress into total corrupt gridlock and dysfunction
step 2: bribe the supreme court so it rules that independent regulators lack all independence and authority
step3: tell anybody who complains that "if the public wants (X) reform, Congress has to pass a new law"
step 4: see step 1
I'm no highly paid dem strategist but I think the party should definitely continue this ingenious tack of endlessly advertising absolute party disunity and candidate vulnerability all the way up to election day

hey this is crazy but what if we passed privacy legislation for the internet era that meaningfully held giant corporations and executives accountable for repeatedly over-collecting consumer data then repeatedly failing to secure it
