I wonder if anybody has a solotuion to this windows problem?
I'm dealing with the most dreaded words in Windows 11.
For me, I hate to hear JAWS say, File explorer is not responding.
This function slows down anything I am trying to do. Its usually with my external drives. But, it happens throughout windows.
I don’t know if its something I need to adjust in overall windows 11 settings or if perhaps Microsoft needs to fix a major problem in this operating system.
I’d like to hear from knowledgeable people with a potential solution or explanation.

As some of you know, Larry and I have been involved and on the air with Old Radio since about 1977.
CBS News Radio will cease to exist as of Friday May22nd.
Larry, Walden and I decided to put together a twelve hour salute to CBS Radio news and so you can hear many of the historical broadcasts plus interviews Larry and I did with many of the responsible individuals who were there and participated in those programs.
Unfortunately, Edward R Murrow was gone before we began interviewing people. But, We talked with and recorded interviews with Douglas Edwards, Robert Trout, Norman Corwin, Himan Brown and Ralph Bell among others.
It was fun to put together and we'll start working on network anniversaries which come up this year and next for NBC and Mutual. ABC will have to wait for a few years for their 100th anniversary.
CBS only made it to 98 and a half and NBC celebrates #100 this November.

@JonathanMosen@caneandable.social When ACB had their convention in Florida a couple of years ago, I took the Kennedy Space tour with my brand new H4E. I got eerying recorded on the tour including live shows and my experience in the simulator. The one thing I missed was the lunch time presentation of an astronaut for about 90 minutes. I thought my new recorder was on and recording, it was not. That session was a highlight and the only one I missed recording. It was a great tour. The next day I signed myself and friends into Disney World and I remember listening to my phone on the walk back to the car as the shots fired news came out of Butler Pennsylva.

April4, 2026, is the target for the old-time-radio marathon on Saturday. Target location is on your computer in the old time radio marathon room and will be broadcast on Yesterday USA Blue from 9am pacific to 9 pm pacific. It will also be simulcast on Yesterday USA Red and ACB Media 3.

We will be starting and finishing with outstanding shows that have a fantastic theme to them: X Minus One and The CBS Radio Workshop, ending with Escape and Halls of fantasy. In between we dip into Dragnet and the Whistler. We also have some family comedy shows like Phil Harris/Alice Faye, Father Knows Best and the Great Gildersleeve. I just finished watching Bob Iger's farewell video on Youtube.

It was an outstanding Disney Video and brought back twenty years of wonderful memories working at Disney.
I never met Bob although we had a couple of emails in correspondence.
He and Disney really made it possible for blind employees to make a good living just like anyone else.
I'm proud to say I was the first employee hired at the Disneyland Resort in 2003.
I did meet Josh D'Amaro the new CEO of Disney. this was in 2022 at the Walt Disney Legacy Award dinner at the Disneyland Hotel. He was head of Disney Parks at the time.
Meeting him and watching the Little Mermaid Jodi Benson sing and entertain at the dinner were major highlights.
So, good luck to Bob for a second time and welcome Josh! !

@robini71@dragonscave.space I don't know the answer. But remember, when AIRA first started? They obviously started to fast and then a couple years later had to reorganize. Now they seem to be doing fine.
