@bovine3dom @transitous Oh and of course it's also possible it gets lost in post processing, that might be worth checking as well

@bovine3dom @transitous If that's a missing data source, that's something we might be able to fix, but if it's missing in an existing feed, not so much. If you find a data source, a PR is always welcome :)

@felixguendling@mastodon.social @mapterhorn@mastodon.social @transitous@en.osm.town Hmm cloudflare indeed wouldn't be great there. Tiles requests in particular are very revealing about which route is being looked at. Maybe we can use a caching proxy between cloudflare and the user?

@maartje@blahaj.social Is there someone I can report such things to? It's not the first time I've noticed unrealistic timetables.

@peteriskrisjanis@toot.lv Do you know by any chance if there is any source of train positions or delay info for LTG Link? The closest I found is e-mail notifications if you bought a ticket for the connection, but that of course doesn't work for an automated converter.

@transitous@en.osm.town now has real time delays for Elron trains in Estonia based on the live map positions from the Elron website.

For now it actually contains zero JavaScript, because I'm lazy, but I might add some progressive enhancement interactivity if useful.

A while ago I started working on a lite.duckduckgo.com-style web interface for Transitous.

It's supposed to help in situations where your data allowance is used up, you only have EDGE reception or your only working device is a Pinebook.

It's now at the point where it starts being useful. Feel free to try it: https://transitous-lite.jbb.ghsq.de

If you want to add more features, please send me pull requests at https://codeberg.org/jbb/motis-frontend-basic/ :)

Thanks to the information from @cccp@chaos.social, it was relatively easy to get this Sigma SM 8200i connected to a modern age computer!

It's pretty much the same hardware as the Erika S 3004, probably this brand name was used for selling in Western Germany.

The code is of course open-source, on @codeberg@mastodon.technology: https://codeberg.org/jbb/erika_S3004
