He can do a LOT of damage (and already has), whether that's his intention or not (though I sincerely believe that's his intention).

Also, he may consider it to be money well spent if it lets him be a troll to his heart's (obvious) content. "Making libs cry while I LOL" is clearly on his personal wish list, and he's clearly not above killing the bird site if those he opposes suffer in the process.
