The FTC, weaponized, along with so many nominally nonpartisan agencies, in service of MAGA and Trumpism, launched a legal attack on the group Media Matters, because of a report that rattled Elon Musk. Three years later, the FTC is throwing in the towel on that bullying, with a legally binding settlement.
Media Matters president Angelo Carusone says the victory “shows the importance of holding power to account, and the importance of fighting instead of folding.”

The New York Times ran a detailed account of how Trump and Netanyahu launched the war on Iran. But it left out the paper's own role in paving the way for war--with what it wrote and when it kept silent.
The Wall Street Journal, one of the few major US outlets to cover the Israeli attack on the Tehran synagogue, referred in a headline to Israel's "Damage to Iran Synagogue"--which resembles the "damage" Al Qaeda did to the World Trade Center towers.
