@Sir_Osis_of_Liver @bhasic @linuxiac I started experimenting with Linux for exactly the same reason – mainly out of frustration at having to throw away a perfectly good laptop. I tried KDE, Zorin and Mint, and ended up sticking with Mint. It works great and is very stable. It was a real eye-opener to try out other things as well, such as LibreOffice, OnlyOffice, Thunderbird, ProtonMail, Tutamail, Vivaldi, Librewolf, Qwant and LeChat. A fun journey of discovery.
