I wanted to be a ham in my teens but I couldn't figure out how to learn enough Morse, so I went into professional radio telecoms instead. Now, 40+ years later, I got my licence -- but I am still trying to learn Morse. (It's much easier with computers!)
Outside this hobby I am a maker (=mad inventor) and a beekeeper living in rural Ireland.

Also useful for understanding and building empathy now I have a non-binary child.
Thank you for putting it so well. :-)
