In the phishing training they say that a sign of a scam is trying to create a false sense of urgency. Then when they talk about AI, they say you might get "left behind."

@Crell@phpc.social WRT copyright: My employer (a large multi-national) requires all employees to take ethics training annually, and it makes a big deal about how ethics are so so important to the company. Yet they are also going all-in on GenAI, which as you stated cannot exist without violating copyright. So ethics are important, but we are betting our future on a technology made by doing things that would get an employee fired.

But there are still lots of people who buy stocks based on underlying financials, indexers, and people who buy stocks that consistently pay and grow their dividends. The crypto crowd only looks at the bad parts of the stock market and thinks that is all there is to it.
