@PeaceandProsperity@na.social I've been listening to We Get to Do This and just finished today's episode - If Adam can get Jimmy to expand the show a bit, which looks like the plan, I think it works really well. Jimmy's willing to go into areas that aren't strictly religious, but they balance it really well. Definitely a different rhythm and there's the spiritual bent, but kind of feels like going from watching Cheers to watching Frazier.

@PeaceandProsperity@na.social Yes - he's still producing it and will be involved prepping them on content and popping in from time to time. We'll see where it goes - I think it's a tall ask for those guys since they already have a show together to not fall back into just doing Planet Rage, which NA is not.

Listening to the latest We Get to Do This Man, if the plan is to turn No Agenda over to Darren and Larry with Adam "Popping in from time to time" it'll be dead within 3 months.

The Odyssey was a solid 8/10 Music/Sound Effects were WAY loud in comparison to the dialogue. Gladiator still puts it to shame IMO

@Dan_Ramos@noauthority.social It's going to be a tough needle to thread and interested to see where it lands. The show needs that historical connection when discussing non-current events and JCD being part of the technorati (according to Uncle Ted) was just the perfect complement to Adam. JCal is probably the closest person to JCD in that regard despite being a pleaser while JCD was a contrarian. Maybe Adam can get him to do a show.

Though he has his own show and VC fund to manage, a guy like JCal would be the perfect foil for the show - it can't just be a guy like Darren

I have to laugh at foreign workers complaining they will have to leave the country (but I don't think it will happen) to apply for their green card and it will cause them to lose their job.

They mostly work for tech companies - if you're valuable enough, I'm sure you can work remote due to this thing called THE INTERNET.
