A successful excursion to Arcadia in Portland for pinball :3
I got 25 million points on Medieval Madness. Lower than my top score on pinball FX but way way higher than all past IRL pinball sessions!
Harvested the potatoes today, as the plants had fully died back. Normally, the plants dying back is a sign that it has dedicated all its nutrients into tuber production.
In this case, I think it was just due to the recent heat waves and not getting enough water 🥲
I got six potatoes, but one was damaged by the shovel. I now have five potatoes and the damaged one left in the dirt to see if it sprouts. An absolutely dismal harvest yield, but you live and learn.
every time you fail a sudo prompt, the incident is reported to Linus Torvalds, who will take the printout with him to Anubis at the time of his death.
My teeny tiny amount of internet fame is that, when "felt cute might delete later idk" was making the rounds, I found a picture of a celtic flute and posted it on facebook with the caption "celt flute, might delete later idk" and, to this day, I find that post heavily cropped and jpegged around the internet from time to time.
This is completely unrelated to anything going on here, just felt the need to post this since I still see people be squirrelly about medication from time to time:
ADHD meds are great. I spent YEARS struggling without them, despite knowing I have ADHD and previously having them, due to a variety of life events. Got back on them a couple years ago and it's been a real night and day difference for me. I can focus at work, I can focus on hobbies, I can start and finish tasks in a reasonable manner, it has even helped me manage my anxiety since it's easier to not spiral when I can successfully focus on finding solutions or at the very least focusing on something other than how anxious I am.
If you or a loved one has ADHD, and you're unsure about medication, and you have the means to afford medication, I highly recommend giving it a try. Worst case scenario, they suck and you hate them and then you go off them again or find a different medication or method that works for you. Best case scenario, you get a significant bump to your quality of life.
