@grynspan@hachyderm.io Hi, an idle thought, that’s certainly been thought of before and must have economic reasons why it hasn’t been implemented, but…. Wouldn’t it be good if one could attach tests to GitHub issues, which could be run on CI infrastructure, so issues could semi-automatically close themselves when resolved? Or notify the filer when resolved.

I suppose the cost of running all those tests would be wasteful… perhaps could be mitigated if the system limited in how frequently the tests ran…

I assume that you already know this, but just in case: the word ‘plumbing’ comes from the Latin ‘Plumbum’ = Lead. The Romans pretty much invented plumbing and used lead. It’s a very ductile metal, so easy to make pipes with.

Some people believe that the decline and fall of the Roman Empire was due to lead poisoning due to this. I cannot be bothered to check if this is true.
