Ok, now that I've gotten the sound the way I like, I'm trying to think of a good way to show the gain staging in each of the 6 modules. Do you think it would be enough to get a report of averages over a given period of time and show that as a dialog?

in order to reliably get promotional screenshots for optilab producer, would it be worth developing a more accessible version of the screen snip utility in windows which would actually allow you to pick the window and/or a child window of an application, or should I just make a branch of optilab internally that has the ability to make screenshots of itself? If enough people think the first option is worth pursuing, I will.
One of the things that I'm learning through using AI for coding is that having 1 model check the result of another keeps me thinking about every aspect of my own work, especially as each is trained to ask me questions along the way, with out such checks in place, I think I'd loos my original idea in the excitement of seeing something work better than it did before.
OptiLab Core has taken another big step beyond the Winamp build, I just added a clap version this morning! It has an accessible interface, and exposed parameters for OSARA. The repository also includes documentation for every aspect of this project. It renders about 5 times faster on this machine than the original js version, but is untested on mac. https://github.com/dgl1984/optilab/releases/latest

almost 20 years ago, I played with, and made, a model talker voice; now, I just made a voice with Piper-TTS. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/boi8aqlthka7cz6uhg7cc/piper.mp3?rlkey=puypmc9m9pppi6u8ccrgs6l4v&dl=1
For those who use classic libation, I reported an accessibility issue I discovered, and the developer was quick to respond, however, I'm not sure what the best recommendations should be, so I'm hoping those who know more than I do wil jump in. https://github.com/rmcrackan/Libation/issues/1668#issuecomment-4034151901
I was trying to see if I could use AI to generate a better frontend for nvgt, with an insert menu and dialog boxes to help add elements to a script, kind of like AHK can, but what I got is incomplete, and I doubt worth distributing.
While talking to @nick@hkc.social on the domain, I had an idea for a game that I do not have the knowledge to program. The scenario is that you are a wanna-be musician/fan of a band, but you want to show them how well you can play, so at level one, for example, you'd start off with your casio vl tone 1, and the pianist in the band is trying to chase you down, and kill you by dropping a piano on your head. it would get more complicated, but that's the basic idea.
