I am I looking for a microcontroller (preferably already on a board) with and which is cheap. The project is very small enough for not needing more than 8bit I think and I don't need WiFi, Bluetooth. But a low consumption MC will be welcome, any idea? Stm8 seems good, Microchip PIC maybe, or NXP 8051, or Infineon 8051 or is it better to target a copy of an old CPU like 8080, z80 or 6800?

@Johan_E_M@mastodon.social @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social same support as Google provides (because GOS is depending on Google support for "proprietary blobs" and "drivers" specific to the hardware)
So just look at here https://endoflife.date/pixel

@LukefromDC@kolektiva.social @TycoonTom@infosec.exchange @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social very good to success to make that and live with the constraints it add. Do you use your secondary phone for online shopping? (The 2FA of most of the banks).
I have chosen the way of the WebApp and ask/force my banks to provide me another way to do the 2FA (SMS + Mail, RSA key type or YubiKey type, secret turning table)
