There is no way to prove definitively that the person using the credential is the same person using the Internet. Hell there’s barely enough of a way to prove that there is a human sitting behind your device. This is why age/identify verification is pointless.

As a technologist, I have to remind everyone that AI is not intelligence. It's a word prediction/statistical machine. It's guessing at a surprisingly good rate what words follow the words before it. It's math. All the way down. We as humans have simply taken these words and have said that it is "intelligence".

Yes. Conservatives, specifically the alt-right, need ways to identify each other in public so that they can “feel included”. And the reason they feel safe is that liberals and progressives are largely non-violent.

It was the exact same. the math of this is that verizon makes enough money on the contract that they can pay for a phone within your 3 year contract.

When I left my company, I had to get a new phone. When I talked to the rep, the phone cost was essentially free with a contract. The offer was that Verizon would pay for the phone over the course of three years. So it’s not financing so much as it was free with a contract. When I asked why this was, he said that it was due to how the market was. Everyone has a phone at this point so now cell service provides have to compete to keep people. So they are willing to pay for your phone so long as you are locked in with them.

Legit question: why didn’t you take the domain before trademark was issued? If you already had the name registered (but not issued), couldn’t you essentially cybersquat yourself and then buy it from yourself after it’s been issued?
