@iivoltagewolf@bark.lgbt A budget of $250 for an indie game would probably be total, and for it to be "fair" it'd probably be 5 or so hours of recording. Though it really depends on exactly how "indie" they'd be.
I've heard of rates as low as around $20/hr but YMMV. My only experiences are second-hand through audiodramas - which are usually hobby projects or student pojects.
