My Alfie is a Good Dog, with excellent ears which double as windsocks, and an improbable quantity of BOUNCE. Yesterday we walked 18 miles together, along the south coast of Orkney Mainland.
I love him very much.

Fellow workers!
This is the true tale of how my great-great-uncle Thomas Owen threw the Haymarket Bomb, and was later shot dead by the Pinkerton union-busters. Whilst Thomas claimed responsibility with his dying breath, the state used this as an excuse to execute four anarchist labour organisers, the 'Haymarket Martyrs'. This led to May 1st being International Workers Day, with strikes for the eight hour workday.
The story, told by my grandfather, begins halfway down p1.

Edith Cavell (Edie) sadly lost her sibling and lifelong companion Nye Bevan recently.
I brought Edie a cuddly toy dragon named Arthur Bundragon, to provide some comfort. After a few weeks of ignoring Arthur, she will now groom him and flop next to him.
Rabbits need companionship. Another rabbit would be best, but the practicalities are difficult in Orkney. She is free range in the living room, for maximum human company.
Preparing for employment tribunal.
I think I need a new job where I have no reason to give a shit about anything, so I can nod along with whatever nonsense management tell me, and not care.
Current role was supposed to be less stressful because nobody dies, but it turns out I still care about vulnerable clients.
This is difficult with a Masters in Public Health. Suggestions please?
