Dentist today. Wastewater is testing very low right now, they have really good air filtration, and will wear N95s on request, so it was as good as it's going to get. While I'm waiting in the chair, young lady comes in wearing a surgical mask - a student wanting to observe. Fine by me, but I said I'd like an N95 mask - left and never came back in. I saw her go back and talk to another woman who looked like she was trying supremely hard to not roll her eyes. It's been bugging me tonight. I think it's the total lack of empathy and imagination - I could be immune compromised, a cancer patient (or just someone who doesn't want to be sick), but that instant sort of wrinkling of the nose reaction....just lacks any depth of thought.
