So I said I got Loops, did I mention the fitness/health tracker watch? Altogether both were like $60 total, plus at that amount I was able to get free shipping.

I got the tracker to monitor my blood pressure, like my doctor suggested I do, especially when I stand up. Apparently, I don't get dizzy because my blood pressure drops. I get dizzy because it rises. Which seems. Concerning! Is it? I don't actually know. I'll ask my doctor on Wednesday.

My average is the high end of normal/okay. But I've got to say, this constant reading of my blood pressure isn't very good for my blood pressure. It sure is convincing me to cut back on caffeine though.

Well, that was... interesting.

Someone on Tumblr posted a subjective experience of the type of catatonia they experience, which is slightly different from what I experienced, but enough similarities within that parts felt incredibly familiar.

I added a list of my experiences from the internal perspective. It's something about peer support I really... find fulfilling. And enjoy, to a degree. It's infodumping, in a way.

But it's also very taxing. I was not anticipating delving into those memories this afternoon. And it's fine, I'm fine, but. Wow. Yeah. Time to go put the blorbos in the pear wiggler.

One of the reasons I think my mom has ADHD is her emotional reactions to... everything. Especially temper and anxiety. It's very familiar to me. One of the ways she expresses this is getting very irritated and mad while driving.

Lately though between helping out through volunteering to help her community through her new church and also I know her husband/my stepdad is encouraging her to try calming down and giving other people grace/presuming good, she's clearly been putting in effort to do that more while she's driving and out in general. And it's showing! I know it's difficult and a process, but she's made some progress and I made sure to comment positively on it because it was noticeable to me and I wanted her to know I recognise the effort she's been putting in.

I've been feeling conflicted about her and my stepdad spending so much time at church because my abusive ex-parents did that and they got worse, but for my retired parents it's been good and I'm glad to see it is so.
