OKAY i am all for suspending disbelief with my science fiction, BUT i'm watching the original ant man right now and in TWO!! VERY IMPORTANT!! moments, a character shrinks small enough to fit between the atoms of titanium and then AT THE SAME SIZE OR SMALLER they are able to critically damage the stuff on the other size of the titanium!! if you are small enough to pass between atoms, you are not going to be able to do meaningful damage!!
