And well never happen. If Linux dies overtake Microsoft on desktop it is not because of user control but the fact Valve has made game playing possible and better on Linux. People well not switch till they have a reason.

The problem is if those take off how do they make money or cover their cost? Sure federated whatever someone still has to pay the bandwidth. And video streaming is a hell of a lot more demanding then text.

I'm gen x or millennial depends who you ask. Ai is a tool nothing more. No I don't five it access to anything but have I used it to write code for me definitely. I hated it but it does have uses. And that is the rub could I learn code to change ddns settings from a unified gateway when my external ip address changes. Or have my server change firewall rules on unifi when it address changes or make a local backup solution for unifi. No I don't have the time. Is the code safe who cares it never sees the light of day and does what it is supposed to and instead if taking days it took hours.

It has put put me off from using not for a long while, when he was fighting with calyx OS. The graphenOS community was toxic don't know if it still is.

They literally to vide them for free. And why so people use their service. Do you know how many people just use their modem and they up sell people WiFi repeaters and the like. The hardware is a fold mine for ISPs.

You loose battery life if on a laptop. Battery life is not as good as on windows. And Apple laptops have insane battery life.
