Christ did not say one must be born "again."
The word Christ used is not translated to "again" in the rest of scripture (even in the same chapter) nor is it translated to "again" from any work of the same language by any author--whether scriptural or secular--anywhere, in any century, before or after.
The word Christ used is an adverb belonging to a family of adverbs:
Anothen ('of above'--this is the word He used), katothen ('of below'), exothen ('of without'), esothen ('of within') and so on from every direction (left, right, forward, behind). 'Ana' (shifted to 'ano-' in pronunciation and spelling when used as a prefix) means 'up'.
'Of above' is the only meaning it ever has in all of the rest of scripture--in all instances before and after this verse, even according to the translations of these same "expert" translators! Just this one verse is the exception, they assure. (💀)
The translators are assuming Nicodemus, a Pharisee trained in the Pharisee tradition, is not mistaken (surely!) and only asking (restating what Christ said! only taking too literally! the silly man) when Nicodemus gives his retarded follow up of "How is a man able to be born, being old? Is he able into the womb of his mother a second time to enter, and to be born?"
These expert translators assume Nicodemus is but only shocked, simply taking Christ's words that "one must be born of above" too literally because he's too thick, unlike the translators, to understand Christ is giving a metaphor of repentance.
So the translators replace Christ's word so that it matches Nicodemus' question.
Except Christ isn't talking about repentance here. He's not sperging out, responding non-sequitur to nothing, pivoting to a new topic.
Christ is responding to Nicodemus.
Nicodemus had just been telling Christ that Nicodemus knows Christ must be of God "for no one these signs is able to do that thou doest, if God may not be with him." Nicodemus is having to meet Christ in the night to confess this. (Many of his fellow Pharisees--aka fellow Judeans--aka "Judeans who are not Judeans, but do lie"--aka "not My sheep" as named by Him who came "for the lost sheep of the House of Israel"--would be pissed at Nicodemus for seeing and confessing Christ.)
So Christ responds to Nicodemus' confession under such nocturnal circumstances that "if any one may not be born of above" (a quality, not a thing to do), "he is not able to see the reign of God" (that He, Christ, is of God).
Nicodemus, doofus extraodinaire, mistakes this as a pivot in topic to some thing one must do to see some future reign of God because he initially isn't getting that Christ is telling Nicodemus why Nicodemus is seeing Christ is of God while "fellows" do not. Christ chastises him for his take from Christ's plain words for the rest of the passage.
The same misunderstanding Nicodemus initially made, translators have enshrined into (and as) scripture--even replacing Christ's word. So now this is the "understanding" for many.

I have no idea how many missiles the US used during our "not touching you" with Iran before, but I would be floored were it a noticeable dent in storage I've irl seen.
Even our *nuclear* air launched missiles--of which we have proportionately very much fewer than conventional missiles, of course--are around 5,000 in number (a public number)
As has been noted above, they take time to make. Many haven't been made since the 80s, 90s--just maintained.
But there are many. Vast amounts. Think truly movie spectacle sized floors.

I listened to the whole trilogy some years ago when I used to have to drive across states to see my parents. I remember loving it.
Same as you though--not only was it hard to remember where one book ended and one began (because the trilogy is more like one book than three stories)--but it was also hard to remember some events since the POV characters are not trying to be heroes and not focused on the world events (though certainly changing them). They're chasing their own smaller goals--some as simple as "survive" and some as shallow as "live in luxury" 😂

Multiplayer has been smooth! There've been fun moments where we try something just to see how it changes the map or options for each other. They have some multiplayer-specific cards you might come across, too.
Enemy health and block adjust to the number of players, so it doesn't feel underpowered. I will say having the specialties from different characters simultaenously does make it easier for a base run. The "Ascension" runs (harder runs) available after a first victory quickly adjust for that 😆
Mechanics aside, it's been fun hearing my friend excited about what's better in the second game, what was nerfed, what's new to try. It's a nice wind of life 🍻

There are verses of being saved, and again Christians confuse two things. The people in Christ's time were living at the end of an apocalypse (which means 'uncovering'). Their "Revelation" (the one we know had not been given yet and picks up from the only one they had) was Daniel. In Daniel, there is an "apocalypse" (uncovering) of history, revealing a series of empires (Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman). They were living in the last of the ones revealed.
In Daniel, there is also the prophecy of the Temple's destruction.
And through the prophets, there are numerous declarations regarding what God will do in the last day.
So when Christ, during the time of the final empire that had been revealed, is talking about the destruction of the Temple to soon come and about the end and His return, listeners in His day are assuming this is all one event or nearly one event.
Some verses about salvation are about salvation from the destruction/judgment coming *in their day* (that scripture had spent a lot of time warning about)-- in the day of those reading these letters from Paul and hearing these words from Christ. The end of their civilization. No more kingdom. The fig tree (national symbol of the Kingdom of Judah) is cursed and will bear no more fruit.
Today's readers take every instance of the word "salvation' to mean what they feel is relevant to them--the next thing, from their lifetime, like the letter (to the Romans, to the Corinthians, etc.) was written to them.
It's no better than when Paula White crosses out Jeremiah's name and writes in her name to "hear" what God has to say "to her."
